Lofthouse were kept busy over the summer with events at Belle Isle Gala, Boston-Spa, Cross Flatts Park, Brodsworth Hall, Filey and Wakefield Cathedral. This included a mix of bandstands across Yorkshire, a country estate and the band paying our respects at the funeral of Gerry Mann a local community stalwart and father to our 2nd cornet player.
The Christmas Music is now out as we ramp up towards the festive schedule. We’ll be playing carols at various pubs across the area (watch our events page for further info) along with several Christmas concerts.
If you’re interested in joining us please contact the band or drop into rehearsal. All are very welcome and its a great time to join with the upcoming events and Yorkshire finals in spring. https://lofthousebrassband.org.uk/vacancies/
