Why Lofthouse 2000 Brass Band?

Our goal is to help musicians progress on their instrument, boost their confidence and team working skills and develop their passion for music.

We pride ourselves on being a not-for-profit charity organisation which is run by a dedicated committee who volunteer their time to help with the day-to-day running of the band.

Being a member of Lofthouse 2000 also means that you can put forward suggestions on the musical repertoire and ways in which we can grow and evolve as a group.

WHEN & WHERE

Rehearsals – Mondays and Thursdays 1930-2130

Venue – Belle Isle WMC, Belle Isle Road, Leeds LS10 3PE

Music & Concerts – Each year, we perform variety of concerts, both indoor and outdoor, and also perform collaborative concerts with other bands, choirs or solo singers.

How much does it cost? After the first month it’s £15.00 per month paid by standing order. Family rate is £25.

I really want to come but I don’t know if I can commit to every week. Is that ok? No need to commit to every week – obviously, we want you to attend as many rehearsals as possible, which is beneficial to both you and the band, but we get that people have busy schedules! Just keep in touch and let us know if you are unable to make rehearsals.
